Long-time friends Elijah Wald and Rosalie Sorrels trade stories

and songs into the night at Iconoclast Books in Ketchum.

May 24th, Ketchum, ID- Author/musician Elijah Wald and special guest Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Rosalie Sorrels met up in Ketchum for an evening of music and story-telling as part of Wald's national book tour.  Sorrels joined Wald for the three Idaho events on Wald's tour supporting his new book, Riding With Strangers.  The new book details Wald's cross-country hitchhiking trip from Boston to Vancouver, B.C., and in that spirit the rides Rosalie gave him around Idaho are the only transportation he has arranged.  From here, every other venue he visits from Colorado to New York will be reached with only his thumb.  For more about the book, read a review from Iconoclast Books.  Also, check out the new PBS documentary on Rosalie Sorrels, featuring her concert performance recorded from the Liberty Theater in Hailey, Idaho, and including interviews with Pete Seeger, Nanci Griffith, and Utah Phillips.
