This particular set is beautifully bound in a handsome three-quarter blue leather over marbled boards. Each spine is ornately decorated in gilt, with raised bands. The top page edges are gilt, as well, and each volume has a silk bookmark. Each also has an illustrated color frontis, opposite the title page with tissue guards. There is very light wear to the leather, with minor chipping at the spine ends. All bindings are perfectly tight and square. This is a very good-looking set from the greatest of western writers.
