Juliette Kayyem is a lecturer in Public Policy at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government. A former congressional appointee to the National Commission on Terrorism, she served as a legal advisor to the U.S. Attorney General. Kayyem testifies frequently before Congress on national security affairs, and is the author of numerous publications, including her most recent book Preserving Liberty in an Age of Terror. Kayyem is also a national security analyst for NBC News and NPR's "On Point." A 1995 graduate of Harvard Law School, she lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with her husband, David Barron, and their three children.
