David Barron is a professor at Harvard Law School who writes about constitutional law, federalism, state and local government law, and executive power. His publications include a casebook on local government law and articles in the Harvard Law Review, the Stanford Law Review, and the Yale Law Journal. He is currently at work on The International Transformation of Cities for Yale University Press. A former advisor in the Department of Justice's Office of Legal Counsel during the Clinton Administration, he was also a law clerk in the Ninth Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.
