Anne Taylor Fleming is a nationally recognized journalist. In 1978, she began writing major cover stories for The New York Times Magazine, and later added to her portfolio the paper's "Points West" column - sketches and reflections of California lifestyles. Anne was a regular "Spectrum" commentator for CBS Radio throughout the '80s and wrote a twice-weekly socio/political newspaper column for the Hearst Syndicate. She has been a TV commentator for CBS and a radio commentator for NBC. She is also a regular on-camera essayist for The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, Newsweek, The New Yorker, Town & Country, and more. Taylor authored Marriage: A Duet and Motherhood Deferred: A Woman’s Journey, as well as her recently published novel As If Love Were Enough. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, journalist and author Karl Fleming.
