Alan Pesky
and his wife Wendy are long time residents of the Wood River Valley. They started The Lee Pesky Learning Center in 1997 in memory of their son. The Center, located in Boise, is the leading facility in Idaho dealing with learning problems. In recent years the Center has become involved with teacher education, early childhood education and school consulting. Alan has served on the Board of Lafayette College and the Tuck School of Dartmouth College as well as numerous other organizations primarily in the areas of human rights, education and the arts. He retired in 1986 from the advertising agency of which he was a founding partner. The Pesky’s now share their time between Ketchum, New York and visiting their children and grandchildren.
